Rainbow Six Siege Map Intel

Ubisoft Is Backtracking On An Upcoming Release For Rainbow… | Flickr

This game has gotten a litle into me, as a quite interesting replacement for the quite dated Counter-Strike series. I'm not going to be very detailed about the game, this is not a review of any sorts, nor a critique or vent of any kind. On the contrary.

Ever since I started playing this game, one thing I found hard to deal with was map navigation. In any game I jump in, specially if it's sorta competetivie such as Rainbow Six Siege, any Counter-Strike game, Quake3, anything of the sorts, a first wall I hit on the learning curve are the maps, a critical part of the gameplay.

Knowing the maps makes it easier to travel from place to place, and you know where to go for a particular goal, like getting a shield, or searching for a bomb, or getting to that physics-defying cover area. So yeah, knowing all that makes it a more pleasent gameplay. At that point when you're no longer thinking on how to get to any particular place in the map, strategy thinking may kick in and let you find small details you can abuse to get an edge, or quickly rotate to ambush your enemy. So yeah, know your maps.

For this very reason, I had the idea of grabing all Ranbow Six Siege maps and write down all the information I was lacking, so I can study them, or get some reference of where I am and where I want to go for whatever purpose. Since I have 2 screens I can set the map I'm playing on in one screen while I actually play that map on the game, no exaclty the minimap I would like to have, but it does help you get around. On another note, Rainbow Six Siege maps are quite packed and very tricky to get by at first, since walls and floors can be broken, suddenly providing many re-routes or rotation routes.

So in the link at the end of this post you'll find a Google Drive folder containing all the maps in the game, plus one reference sheet in case you need to know about the icons and whatnot.

The maps themselves were taken from the official Rainbow Six Siege site, plus the unnofficial wiki. Each map contains all the levels of a particular area. Cameras, breakable walls, hatches, etc, is all marked down, and each room is labeled as it is on the game in the best way I could. Sometimes names will be cut down a bit if the entire thing doesn't fit. Some corrections were made along the way on a few of the maps, know that R6 official site doesn't provide up to date blueprints sadly.

All maps have been covered, and they should be up to date as of this day: 2020-07-14, this includes th new House rework of course.

Here's the Border map I expaded:
As you can see, you can know most of the names of the areas from this, camera locations, objective locations, etc.

I hope you find this useful. Feel free to download the files and use as you please, credit the work if you can, while I'm not a h4x0r Siege player yet, I must admit this helped a great deal understanding defense tasks at the beginning of the match, and allowed to quickly scan areas in where objectives may be as attacker rather than going around with the drone.

Comment if you like, and have fun.
